Grund is a DJ from Phoenix Arizona. He plays Electro, Fidget, and Hardstyle genres. First started Dj'ing hip hop at 14 years old. Moved back to Arizona with his family and started playing in a band in Mesa Arizona with a band titled Implode progressing to battle of the bands in 2001 band broke up in 2002. Started producing and recording local rappers and figured could make it something of his own, in 2006. Started producing rap beats and recording some close friends on his own label called Shaterd Records and progressed to 2008. Opening for tech N9ne 2 years prior did two Marquee Theater shows and put many songs on comps done by intrinsic from Intrinz ink and virus music called underground hustlin with artist such as Bone Thugs and Harmony and Twiztid. Also working with labels such as Chalkline Musick, No Luck Records, Mind Lab Productions, Virus Music and Mafiatic Productions and shortly after the label broke up late 2008. After moving back from New York and inspirations from Bad Boy Bill, DJ Craze, Klever, Deadmau5, Afrojack, Wolfgang Gartner, Showtek, DJ Venom exc… decided to move towards DJ'ing, using his laptop and picked up a midi controller and the inspiring usage of Traktor scratch by DJ Craze and Klever started using a similar setup.

After playing at a bunch of after parties finally got invited to play at a party called Slave to the rave for a tag set with DJ Punisher then shortly after that got asked to play at Invasion 2 and ever since have been getting booked at major raves. Now in the scene and on 3rd Planet Productions, RID Fam, Party House Productions and Hardstyle Productions he wants to pursue his career as a DJ in the rave scene as well as the club scene. He premiers every friday at club Afterlife. Dj Grund says "I'm here to bring music to a new level" .
